Chicago, IL – August 15, 2017 – Education Incites® announced today that Coni Rechner, Senior Vice President at Discovery Education, has been elected to Education Incites’ Board of Directors.
With more than 20 years of experience supporting educators in the K-12 market, Coni’s leadership and commitment to improving student achievement have positively impacted school districts across the country. She played a pivotal role in the launch of the Discovery Education brand following the purchase of United Learning by Discovery Communications almost 15 years ago as well as in the founding of the Discovery Educator Network, which today is the largest professional learning network of its kind. In her current role, Coni partners with the country’s largest, urban school districts to support their strategic goals and provide customized professional learning and digital solutions that transform teaching and learning.

Coni joined Discovery Education from United Learning, where she served in a variety of positions and was part of the leadership team that launched unitedstreaming. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing from the Marquette University and an MBA in business education from the University of St. Thomas.
